Step by step instructions

  1. Use a peeler to remove the skin from the raw carrots by starting at the top of the carrot and drawing it down to the bottom of the vegetable in one stroke. Repeat this until the entire peel has been removed.
  2. Cut off both ends and halve the peeled carrot, securing it on the board with the claw grip.
  3. Then cut the carrot into pieces of 5 – 6cm / 1.9 – 2.3inch.
  4. Cut into fine leaves using the claw grip and a rocking motion.
  5. Now cut the leaves into fine, noodle-like juliennes about 3mm / 0.12inch.
